If we had to choose the freest and most informal space at LAC, this would be it. Both because it is perfectly unfurnished and because here artists have full autonomy to rehearse shows before staging, experimenting, mounting and testing new sets and numbers. It is also the alternative stage for small theater companies and is often chosen for holding events that require freedom of movement or a special setting, enhanced by the underground atmosphere of this space, with its rough concrete and wooden walls. In short, it is a naked version model of the LAC, restored to its essentials as a meeting point and artistic creation.
