Since 2018, LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura has been an autonomous municipal entity of the City of Lugano, governed by its own bylaws. The organization’s activities are governed by four-year mandates assigned on the basis of a business plan that defines its strategic priorities and development objectives. Subject to approval by the City Council, the mandate establishes the City of Lugano’s financial contribution. Each year, the LAC submits its balance sheet, income statement, and budget. The governing bodies established by the organization’s bylaws are the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and the Audit Committee.
